The Wetterlings Large Splitting Axe is made for splitting logs and large chunks of wood. It is 29″ overall with a 3 1/2″ cutting edge and weighs 5 pounds. It is lighter and more compact than the Splitting Maul, but still ready for a hard days work getting you ready for winter warmth or the wonders of a cooking fire.
