Using the same incredible power as Desert Whale” Liquid Wax, this leather balm blends the refined liquid wax esters with vegetable-derived cetyl palmitate and cetyl alcohol: waxy solids found naturally in the prized spermaceti wax of sperm whales, but now synthesized sustainably from palm oils. This combination of compounds makes for a cream that applies luxuriously smoothly, allowing for a little to go a very long way. The liquid wax esters are virtually identical to those found in skin oils, and readily absorb into leather to rejuvenate it while being invulnerable to the oxidation that treatments like neatsfoot or mink oils undergo with age, which results in the hardening and cracking/flaking of leather over time. The premium refined Simmondsia chinensis liquid wax will not discolor light leathers, and provides a strong cleaning action during application. Supplied in a 2oz aluminum tin.
