At 2.0 pounds, the Wood-Craft “Pack Axe” is made using 5160 steel, heat treated on both ends for superior strength, and this model has a Premium Curved Hickory Handle (handle length is before hanging and assembly) and includes a high quality welted leather Mask to protect your Pack Axe from the elements and you from your extremely sharp Pack Axe. Comes in 24″ or 18″ handle, the 18″ handles.
Replacement 24″ handle
24″ curved hickory handle in a slim traditional pattern. The handle will come with a wooden wedge and metal circular wedge for a secure fit. WoodCraft® handles are the finest replacement handles available. The handles are chosen for their premium grain orientation and density and are all Grade “A” American hickory.
