This tea strainer/infuser has a large bowl for an extra helping of your herbs. It is unique it that it has a sliding lid large enough to fit over either small or large cups to prevent essential oils evaporation and preserve the active ingredients. I always used to set a saucer over my cups to prevent nutrient loss which was a hassle at best and impossible with a handle type infuser. I’m impressed that someone has come up with everything I could have asked for in an herb and tea infuser – all unbreakable stainless steel, large enough bowl for whatever amount of herb strength desired, lid to adjust to any size diameter/height cup, with all components attached together so you don’t have to worry about loosing one part or another.
