This sturdy construction, plus its light weight (1/2 oz), and handy 2.75″ X 4.25″ size make it great for adventures such as backpacking , traveling and piloting where weight is always a consideration. It fits easily in your pocket, and is so light as to be virtually un-noticable, yet provides a very clear image with little distortion. Plastic mirrors offer the advantage of floating if dropped in water which is a consideration for life raft or pleasure water crafting needs. The Coghlan’s Feather Weight Mirror has a hole in the middle top, making it easy for you to hang it for convenient usage around camp.
