High Capacity Rechargeable Batteries
Our extra high capacity batteries hold more energy per charge than ordinary rechargeable batteries. This gives you more run time before you have to recharge, and more hours of use over the life of the battery as well. With a little care, you can recharge your battery over 1000 times. Just think; that is once a day for 3 plus years! We recommend having two sets, one to power your device while the second charges. These batteries will work in the vast majority of battery powered devices, and with 500 to 1000 charges. Just think of all the money you will save, not to mention, you don’t have to throw away all those batteries! In addtion, NIMH (Nickel Metal Hydride Batteries) do not have the memory problems normally associated with rechargeable batteries. Mah stands for Milli-Amp Hour, and is a measure of the capacity, or “amount of power”, a battery can hold. The more mah the better, as your battery with run longer. All of these batteries are 1.2 volts.
Notes on Charging: NICAD (Nickel Cadmium) batteries should be fully discharged before recharging to avoid any memory. Battery Memory is when a battery starts to “remember” how far you “empty” it of its charge, and then won’t recharge to its original maximum. NIMH batteries don’t have this problem; however, it is best to charge them in a charger made with them in mind. This includes most chargers made in recent years.
